Late betting data for Dallas-Buccaneers

According to online sportsbook BetUS, currently the Cowboys are 2½ point favorites on the point spread and have attracted 56.34% of bets and 61.59% of the total dollar volume on the spread as of Monday morning, meaning that larger bets are being staked on the Texan team.

However, BetUS customers betting the outright winner, or “moneyline” are backing the Bucs both in terms of the number of bets and the dollar volume – 68.55% and almost 52%, respectively.

Tom Brady has faced the Cowboys seven times, winning all those games, but tonight is the first time Brady will play against Dallas in the playoffs, if his team loses this could be Brady’s last game as a Buc.

Cowboys' QB Dak Prescott hasn't been doing as well as expected. He has thrown 15 interceptions so far this season, the most of any QB in the league except for Davis Mills of the Houston Texans, with whom he shares the unenviable statistic.

“Dallas has one of the fiercest defenses in pressuring the quarterback and is currently a 2.5-point favorite at Tampa, but Brady gets rid of the ball faster than any QB. Playoff outcomes often comes down to mistakes, and this is why I am taking the Buccaneers and Brady over the Cowboys and Dak in this one. This line is moving towards Bucs +3, and if it does, I think we’ll see a last minute rush of Bucs bets at that number,” says Barry Barger, a senior analyst with BetUS.

The Bucs (8-9) are 5-0 against the spread in their last 5 playoff games as an underdog, while the Cowboys (12-5) are playing their first playoff road game since 2018, when they fell 30-22 to the Los Angeles Rams.

BetUS customers are expecting a lot of points on the board, with 66.37% of bets and almost 75% of the dollar volume on the total 45 ½ points being bet on the ‘over’.
