Here’s the latest insider betting data from BetUS Sportsbook on Monday Night Football’s Arizona Cardinals-San Francisco 49ers Week 11 matchup in Mexico City.
An NFC West game between the Cardinals (4-6) and the 49ers (5-4) will be held at Azteca Stadium, with a capacity of 87,500, at 8:15 p.m. ET.
"I don't expect either team to take any siestas in this one. As we have seen in NFL Division games like Washington vs Philadelphia last week, teams know each other very well and giving points over a TD is usually not great,” Barger says.
Oddsmakers at BetUS currently have the Cardinals as an underdog at +285 and the 49ers as favorites at -360 for the outright winner, known as a “money line” wager. This would indicate an implied probability of Arizona winning the game of 25.97% (Compared to 49ers 78.26%)
Based on a report released by BetUS on Friday, 71.11% of the wagers placed and 62.52% of the dollars wagered on the money line have been bet on the underdog Cardinals.
The report also shows that the Cardinals had attracted 81.68% of bets and 91.85% of the dollar volume bet on the point spread so far, where Arizona is a +8 underdog.
“Arizona showed they are fighting back in the NFC West and so are the Niners. I like taking big points and the Cardinals who may get back Marquise Brown this week,” Barger declares.
“The public is also on them big, but the key number is that the volume bet on them is 10% higher than the ticket number. This implies the smart money is on them and it would be wise to follow that”.
The 49ers beat the Chargers 22-16 Sunday night after their bye week, giving them a second-straight win. They were, however, unable to cover the 7-point spread. The Cardinals defeated the other LA team, the Rams 27-17 on Sunday as 3½-point underdogs.
The NFC West does not have a clear favorite as Seattle leads by a half-game over the second-place 49ers.
BetUS customers are also expecting points on the board, with 69.23% of bets and 74% of the dollar volume bet on over 43½ points.
