Max Holloway Opens as the Favorite in BetUS’s Unique Betting Lines and Props for UFC 318

The Hawaiian Sensation Is Back as Max Holloway Faces Dustin Poirier in an Epic Matchup

A Bout for the Ages

The UFC schedule is out, and we have found out that among the many UFC fights, one special matchup sticks out among the rest. Dustin Poirier will be calling it a career, but before he does, he will square up with the legendary Max Holloway at UFC 318, and BetUS has all the odds and props that every fight fan could want.

UFC Fights Odds

BetUS has all the UFC odds and props for the upcoming UFC events. And chief among them is the Dustin Poirier swan song against his nemesis, Max Holloway, whom he has defeated twice before by unanimous decision.

UFC rumors swirled as to which fighter Dana White would pit against him in his final match, and Holloway was deemed the perfect opponent for Poirier. Max Holloway’s record may reflect that two of his eight career losses were courtesy of Dustin Poirier, but his 26 victories, a litany of records, and status as the former featherweight champion have marked his tenure in MMA and the UFC as an unmitigated success.

Ironically, Holloway’s first UFC match in February 2012 was against Poirier, and it would be over seven years before the two would meet again, with Poirier making UFC news by claiming his second unanimous decision over his talented opponent.

Dustin “the Diamond” Poirier will make his final walk to the Octagon on Saturday, July 19th, in his home state of Louisiana, with another Louisiana legend walking by his side – Lil’ Wayne. This fight will be for the mythical BMF championship, and BetUS has odds on all the UFC 318 matches.

FAQs

Is Conor McGregor Coming Back to the UFC?

As of this writing, McGregor is not scheduled to return, but that could change quickly. Conor McGregor’s last trip inside the Octagon was four years ago against Dustin Poirier when he broke his leg in the first round, causing the doctor to stop the fight. It was the second loss to Poirier, who stopped McGregor six months prior via a second-round TKO.

McGregor will soon turn 37, and his best days are behind him. Although he has promised to return to the UFC several times over the last four years, it seems Notorious has plenty of money to sustain him without requiring a return to the cage.

What Are the BetUS Odds for UFC Fights?

BetUS has odds on all the upcoming UFC events, including Max Holloway (-120) vs. Dustin Poirier (EV) and a full slate of UFC Fight Night matchups on July 12th featuring power hitters Tallison Teixeira (-270) vs. Derrick Lewis (+222).
