Who’s Next? BetUS Releases Exclusive Odds on the Next Las Vegas Sphere Residency

Las Vegas Sphere Continues to Revolutionize the Concert Scene, but Which Artists Will Dominate Vegas Next?

The Future Is Now

The Las Vegas Sphere is one of the world's most avant-garde, state-of-the-art entertainment venues, already attracting a bevy of legendary musical artists, from the Eagles to U2. But entertainment rumors are swirling as to which singer or band will be the next to sign a Las Vegas Sphere residency at Sin City’s newest attraction.

Naturally, BetUS has betting odds on that very question.

Next Residency at the Las Vegas Sphere

The Sphere is on a tear, shattering attendance records and gate receipts with a stunning $420.5 million for the year and ticket sales of 1.3 million for 2024. Those are the biggest numbers since Billboard began tracking attendance records over 50 years ago. It is also the first venue to shatter the $300 million mark in just one year.

Sphere Las Vegas tickets are in high demand, and there have already been a variety of different musical acts, but the Eagles currently have a residency that began last September and ends on April 12, 2025. Acts like Dead & Company will perform 18 shows this year, while Kenny Chesney is scheduled for 15 shows, and the Backstreet Boys are also scheduled to perform.

James Dolan, the CEO of Madison Square Garden Sports and Madison Square Garden Entertainment, is also the Sphere Executive Chairman and the man responsible for bringing the $2.3 billion marvel to the desert. He described the experience of watching the concert film and last year’s biggest gate earner, “U2: UV Achtung Baby,” at the immersive entertainment facility.

You feel like you’re at the concert,” Dolan said. “So, you know, we have some great bands that are coming in over the next year. And so, I think we will continue to capture their concerts using our Big Sky technology. How we then bring it to the public and market it, I think we’re still trying to figure out what’s the best way.

A stunning 580,000 square feet of LED displays are on the outside of the enormous 366-foot-high by 516-foot-wide high-tech orb east of the Las Vegas Strip. Inside is a 16K resolution wraparound LED screen, along with a sea of futuristic speakers with room for over 20,000 spectators. Wave field synthesis and beamforming technologies allow a 4D experience replete with scents and breezes that permeate the new-age hippodrome.

Recently, speculation began circulating as to which major act will make entertainment news and be the next residency at the Las Vegas Sphere. BetUS and its innovative oddsmakers have included that very question on its novelty props betting menu.

Betting on entertainment is standard fare at BetUS, and in this case, there is a list of 25 names to choose from with corresponding odds. Metallica is the favorite to take residency at the Sphere, but everyone from the Foo Fighters to Lady Gaga can also be chosen.

This is just one example of the massive novelty props available at BetUS, with topics ranging from entertainment to politics to commerce and even science. If it’s trending, chances are it’s on BetUS’s betting menu.
