As we gear up for the highly anticipated Big Ten West College Football clash between the Wisconsin Badgers and the Purdue Boilermakers tonight at 7:00 pm ET at Rose Ade Stadium, we want to share some exclusive insights on where the betting stands at BetUS.com, the original online sportsbook celebrating its 30th college football season this year. 

As of Friday afternoon, Wisconsin is favored by –6 points on the points spread and –235 on the moneyline at BetUS.  

Wisconsin seems to be the bettors’ favorite tonight, with 61.27% of the bets and 55.62% of the dollar volume bet on the point spread (Wisconsin –6) having been bet on the Badgers, along with 60.71% of bets and 59.04% of the dollar volume bet on the moneyline (-235). 

Oddsmakers have set the total points for the game at 54½ as of Friday afternoon, and if the betting trend is any indication, we can expect a high-scoring game this evening: more than 55% of bets and a telling 73% of the total dollar volume bet on the total has been bet on the game going over 54½ points. 

“While Wisconsin is attracting a larger share of the betting action, we nonetheless expecting to see a very close game between Wisconsin and Purdue tonight,” said Tim Williams, director of public affairs for BetUS. “Games like these are hard to call, which is also attracting many customers to bet on the wide variety of prop bets available on the game rather than the point spread or moneyline.” 

One of the more interesting prop bets available at BetUS (pronounced ‘Bet U.S.’) on tonight’s game is the “Quarterback Duel,” in which BetUS customers can bet on each teams’ quarterback exceeding a set number of passing yards, based on their past performance. Will Purdue’s Hudson Card exceed 253 passing yards? At –104, the odds slightly favor a ‘yes’ to that question. For his part, Wisconsin’s Tanner Mordecai is slightly favored (-114) to surpass 233 passing yards.  

Another popular prop bet is the team to score first (Wisconsin is currently favored at –140).
