Zidane and Mourinho in the running for Al Nassr coaching position, but oddsmakers have a different favorite.

The Al Nassr team's coach, Rudi Garcia, has recently been fired due to poor results and a strained relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo. Now, the big question on everyone's mind is who will take over as the new coach?

At BetUS, we've been closely following this developing story and have some exciting insights to share. It's no secret that Ronaldo wields a great deal of influence over the team, so any new coach will need to be someone he approves of.

While some media outlets have reported that the club's management has reached out to both Jose Mourinho and Zinedine Zidane for the coaching position, oddsmakers at BetUS have not favored them as the frontrunners. Instead, the option of "Any other" has -400 odds and an implied probability of 80%, indicating that there is a high likelihood that neither Mourinho nor Zidane will become the new coach.

Between Mourinho and Zidane, Mourinho is currently the favorite for the coaching position with +220 odds. However, Zinedine Zidane is not far behind with +350 odds. This means that if a bettor wants to bet $100 on Zidane becoming the new coach, he will receive a total payout of $450 if he does indeed get the job. This looks like a good deal, especially considering that Zidane has not been coaching any club since departing Real Madrid for a second time in 2021.

Mourinho's situation is different because he is currently coaching Roma. Nonetheless, he remains the favorite to take over as the new coach of Al Nassr.

Despite the uncertainties surrounding the appointment of a new coach, the Saudi Arabian league remains a top destination for coaches and players alike due to the massive salaries and increasing competitiveness, such is so it has recently been reported that Lionel Messi has been offered a contract worth a staggering $400 million per year.

At BetUS, we'll be keeping a close eye on this developing story and offering up-to-date betting lines as more information becomes available.

We can't wait to see what the future holds for Al Nassr and Ronaldo, and we’d welcome the opportunity to add additional value to your coverage.  BetUS is currently the only sportsbook offering these odds.
