Will Tom Brady retire a Patriot? BetUS posts odds.

After 23 seasons in the NFL, the moment that nobody wanted to come is finally here: Tom Brady has again announced his retirement, but this time it seems it could very well be for good.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion and five-time game MVP made New England team owner Robert Kraft feel nostalgic, to the point where he’s offering Brady a symbolic one-day contract so that Brady can retire as a Patriot.

Oddsmakers at online sportsbook, BetUS.com, released a special line: WILL TOM BRADY SIGN A ONE-DAY CONTRACT FOR THE PATRIOTS IN 2023?

So what are the odds Brady will take up Kraft on his offer? BetUS.com currently has the ‘Yes’ at +130 (a bettor must risk $100 for a $230 payout, a net winning of $130 on top of the bettor’s $100 stake) and the ‘No’ favored at -175 (a bettor must risk $175 for a payout of $275; the net winning is $100 plus the bettor’s $175 stake is returned), meaning BetUS oddsmakers are not keen to believe that Brady will take Kraft up on the offer.  But don’t tell that to Kraft:

“Not only do I want [Brady to retire a Patriot], our fans are clamoring for him. And to us, he always has been and always will be a Patriot, and we will be bringing him back [...] we will do everything in our power to bring him back, have him signed off as a Patriot and find ways to honor him for many years to come,” Kraft said during an appearance on CNN on February 3rd.
