The Philadelphia Eagles are close to getting their 4th ticket to the Super Bowl after an outstanding performance against the Giants last Sunday. The Eagles made their last Super Bowl appearance in 2018 where they beat the Patriots for their first Super Bowl win. The Eagles will host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, January 29th at Lincoln Financial Field at 2pm E.T.
This is definitely one of the Eagles best seasons with a 15 - 3 record and are just one game away from the Super Bowl. “They ended up winning the NFC East pretty easily despite a rash of injuries late in the season,” says Marcus Johnson Spokesperson for BetUS.
The Eagles are a -2 point favorite on the point spread at BetUS as of Friday and a -145 favorite on the ‘money line,’ meaning a bet on the outright winner. The money line odds translate to an implied probability of a Philadelphia win of 59.18%.
According to data released by BetUS, 45.36% of bets and nearly 62% of the total dollar volume wagered on the Money Line had been bet on the Eagles.
Right now Philly is 50/50 against the spread with a 9-9 record. A report released Friday by BetUS shows that nearly 70% of wagers and 73.64% of the total dollar volume bet so far is backing the Eagles to cover the spread.
