Bettors support underdog Horned Frogs to win CFP Championship

The odds for the Horned Frogs to win the CFP Championship starting the season were 200/1 with Georgia the defending champs, so it isn't surprising the Bulldogs are currently double-digit favorites (12 points).

According to data released by BetUS, customers support the Horned Frogs on the point spread and money line 83.44% of bets and almost 84% of dollar volume had been bet on TCU as an outright winner. And 78.58% of bets and almost 72% of tickets have been also bet on the Texas team from the Big 12 Conference

Barry Barger, a senior BetUS analyst, thinks that taking the Frogs and the points is the best option.

“Georgia's tough defense is finally showing its CFP Title team loss of five starters to the NFL draft first round by giving up 71 points the last two games. TCU QB Max Duggan, the Heisman runner-up, is a winner and will make this a closer game than oddsmakers predict,” Barger says.

The Horned Frogs are 4-0 in their last 4 games as an underdog of 10.5 or greater. BetUS customers are also expecting points on the board, with 80.49% of bets and 78% of the dollar volume being bet on the “over” of 63½ points.

BetUS has long led the sports betting industry in the variety and number of proposition bets on offer for this and other bowl games.  For this game in particular, BetUS offers more than two dozen game props such as what will be the first scoring play of the game, and which team will score first.
